Lionel Richie and Earth, Wind & Fire will bring their joint North American tour to Intuit Dome on August 9, pairing two catalogs built for a full night of familiar songs.
Richie’s solo work and years with the Commodores cover romantic ballads, dance-floor records and singalongs that have moved across generations. Earth, Wind & Fire bring an equally recognizable run of funk, soul and pop classics.

The concert is expected to include Richie staples alongside Earth, Wind & Fire favorites such as “September,” “Let’s Groove” and “Reasons.” Rather than a co-headline bill built around current releases, the appeal is the depth of material and the number of songs audiences already know.
Intuit Dome gives the Los Angeles stop a modern arena setting for a show rooted in live bands, vocal arrangements and musicianship. The pairing should also allow each act a substantial set rather than a short festival appearance.
For Southern California listeners, the August date offers a rare chance to see both artists on one ticket without leaving the region.
